Third Reflection

Using the ideas and the plan we prepared our web pagees. We had a though time creating the web pages according to the plan that we have prepared. However through friends guide and instruction and using WWW.w3schools. com website we were able to progress with our work with out any difficulties. In the middle of the class sir used to come and share points related to our webpages makin use desin our webpages better than the plan that we have prepeared. So at the time of the submission we were able to plan a simle and effective webpages. To me we learnt by doing and the tages we used were kind of rivision to what we already learnt in our high schools, however as we were using the HTML%, most of the tages were new and very interesting like the inserting of the vedios and the audios.

So, as a result we were able to prepare our webpages according to the plan that we were having.

First Week's Reflection

To me, the first week was teh week of desigining web.
On the first class we were asked to design ten webpages on a chart using our past knowledge of HTML. The next day we were asked to present our design to our friends and share our views. By doing so, we were able to improve our design using the commets given by our friends.

Next day sir introduced us with HTML 5 and made us to find the differences between the previous version(HTML 4,01) and the present version(HTML5). The next day we were made to form groups of five and were asked to share our points with eachother. After we finished sharing our individual points to our own groups, we discused the important points and shared with the class. We found out that the docktyle is different and HTML5 was having many new and interesting features like audio, video, geo location of the users and manymore.

We were also introduced to W3school website, which is very easy for us to use and understand. And moreover, we took some time to visit that websit and understand the content there. Using that we were able to find the differences between HTML and HTML5.
Then using the knowledge that we already have and the new knowledge, we were asked to design our webpages using HTML5 as an assignment.

In this whole week, we were having student centered learning which helped us to learn better and faster. Especially, i was able to get into my learning without much problem and with more facilities

Reflection of 7th March

On our first class, we were asked to plan ten web pages talking about ourselves as home task for the next class.

On the next class, sir made two of the students to present their plan to the whole class including me. We presented our plans and got feedbacks from our friends that could help us improve our plan. After two of us finished presenting, whole class was divided into six groups and in groups we were made to present and share our plan with the group mates and then we were asked to discuss about our feedback.

While doing this we got to see different, new and interesting ideas that could help us to design better web pages. In our group four of us were using tables but one was using IFRAME.  All were having the same concept, that is talking about one’s life but the way of expressing was different. Some were having links at the top and some at the side and the color they were using and the images and its positioning were completely different.  Here we took ideas from others to improve our plan and gave feed back to make other’s plan to be improved.

By doing so, my plan got really improved. My main topic, LIFE OF CHIMI was same and it was throughout. My friends told me to have the related subtopic underneath the main topic in the entire page except on the Home page and they asked me to have lighter background color. But when I saw others plan, some were having no back ground color, and I think my webpage will be looking better without the background. All were having photo glary as a topic and on top of that they are having an image in each page, but  I thought of not having the photo gallery, but I thought of inserting relevant images were ever I fell it is needed. And I discussed my ideas with my friends and they think it is better.

So by doing this kind of group activities, I was able to get lots of new and interesting ideas and I was able to improve my plan. And I feel this kind of activities should be carried out in every class.

Fourth REflection

In this week our web pagesses were assessed and marked by sir and we were given ideas to better improve our web pages next time. Most of our color contrast were good and the the limnks and the overall design were better  however for some it was not the same. How ever in general we were provided with the ideas to make our next web pages better.
 then we were given the next assignment, to create web pages on any topic related to our elective subjects. Our web pages should be in position to teach the students with out teachers. Firstly we were asked to prepare plan and present to the sir. we prepare and planned our webpages but it was not that good and on top of that some of our friends haven't prepare it. So we were asked to redo it
